So what's Jeff's (me) Scam you ask? Lol

Ok here it comes I'm giving you this free resource to help you make money online niche marketing and you'll help me promote this site. That’s it!

This site is my new pet project a project where I post my research on how make money online with no scams. Make money scams are everywhere by documenting a legitimate process to make money online I will help others navigate though the scams. I'm an honest person that only provides honest ways to make money online, no give me your credit card and I’ll make your rich type stuff her. You do the work and you’ll get the rewards.

I've been researching how to make money online for about three months now and have come across some very bad websites, websites that will take your money and run I’m hoping that by providing this information I can help others avoid the online make money scams.

Ok so what's the best way you ask?

Niche marketing is my favorite.

In the last three months I've launched several websites this one being my favorite. It's a fun easy way to make a living and I hope you enjoy all the content I've put together. It's been a fun learning process, I've never enjoyed writing in my life but when I’m this passionate about something the words just flow and I can’t help but write.

Helping people is a fun and honest living you should consider niche marketing even if your not a writer don't rule out niche marketing just because your not a writer. Niche marketing can be done without writing. You pay people to write for you. There is plenty of online resource like Elance where you can find any digital worker you need. Elance is a place where you can find and hire experts to outsource to. You can find any digital worker you need on Elance there are designers, writers, developers, translators, marketers, researchers and well you get the point. Oh… and it’s only cost pennies to get what you need done. You may have a very low income job and still afford to contract your work out you just have set a low bid price and let people bid on your job.

Niche Marketing

Niche marketing is the process of finding small areas inside a very popular topic and becoming the source of the very targeted search information.
Let me give you an example.

Travel is a very popular topic people love to travel. They travel everywhere all the time day and night and as a whole the world never stops traveling. Niche marketing takes you inside travel to target a smaller topic inside travel something like “cruises to the ????”. Travel has 1,110,000,000 search results and is way too competitive a search phrase to compete on right from the start or even ever but it should be your goal to be the authority in the market remember your building an asset that will if done right will produce more and more income the more work you put into it. Lets use “cruises to the” as the target keywords. The keywords you'll want to target are high search volumes with fewer than 50K on the search results (I’ll show you further down on the page how to find your keywords). Having your keywords in your website’s content for things like “cruse to the Caribbean” or "cruise to the Bahamas” will get you noticed by search engines but keep in mind you'll want to target even the larger niches too once you get the hang of it but start small in the beginning other wise you’ll get discouraged. I use this as the starting point so that you will get search engine traffic from the start, note you need to do proper keyword research before anything is written. I suggest you write at the very least two articles a day one targeting your main keywords and another targeting an even larger topic. The smaller topic will bring visitors to your website though search engines and the larger topic will make you look like you’re the authority in the market and it will avoid raising the question of do I trust them?
Do I trust them is a common question when people are on websites selling products or marketing products for other websites. You need to make sure that you write content doesn’t raise this question. Create the impression that you’re the authority on the subject and your visitors just found the gold mine for travel info to where they’re going.

If you’re just putting up ads on specific landing pages you don’t need to worry about becoming the authority but it’s something you should keep in mind when creating any new website always ask your self where do I see this site going and you’ll do fine. If you’re only writing a couple of landing pages then for some specific keywords that you believe will make good money with minimal effort then don’t worry about becoming the authority just write the content make it appealing and move on the next niche website.

Great how do I make money?

Niche marketing websites can make money in various ways, Google Adsense, ClickBank affiliate programs, or even your own product. You can sell your own guides you can even pay to have a product created for you. It could be something like European Curses how to find the best deals. Don’t be afraid to try out other things that I didn’t mention just monitor there progress and if they don’t do well stop using them. This site is mostly about taking action and spotting scams, taking action is the most important thing you can learn from this site. You aspiring to do anything but if you don’t take action you can kiss your dreams good bye.

Google Adsense

Google Adsense is a very easy way of making money all you need is a website with content people are looking for.
How to find keywords?

Google is my favorite. Go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Type in a phrase like travel click search. Now you have some main keywords. Pick a couple that sound good and put them in the box where you typed travel click get keyword ideas. Sort by advertiser competition and scroll down until you see something that has a high search volume and less competition. Now you have a main niche keyword, put that in the text box and repeat the previous steps to get some niche keywords you can compete on. Once you’ve come up with a good list of keywords you need pick a domain name.

Clickbank

Clickbank is one of the largest retailers of digital products on the internet. With over 10,000 digital products, it is one of the premier affiliate networks. It is easy to use, easy to join and there are products in a ton of different areas from pets to electronics. Because you don’t want to overwhelm yourself with products, pick your products carefully. Choose popular products because you want to have top performing products that make sales. Once you have picked a few products do some testing, don’t be afraid to change things up the goal is to have the best selling products.

Other Affiliate Programs

Commision Junction is one. There are so many otheres out there and I want to get thought this so I'll come back to this.

Choosing a domain name

Your domain name is one of the most important things you do in niche marketing. Your domain name is one of the first things people and search engines notice. For our example we care about the search engine the most. When choosing your domain name you’ll want to have your main keyword (travel) and your niche keywords “cruse to the” in the domain name or as close to them as your keywords you can get without sounding bad. Something like http://www.cruseandtravel.com/ or http://www.travelbycruse.com/ or http://www.travelbycrusenow.com/. I’ve spent hours choosing a domain name, just to make sure I get it right. Domain keywords are keywords that carry weight, get it right and you’ll clime the search results with easy.

What website software should you use?

There are so many free open source software packages out today that you have the option to be picky do your own research make a decision what to features you care about choose wisely. I’m currently using BlogEngine.net but am considering switching to WordPress. You can follow my research on switching to from BlogEngine.net to WordPress on http://www.coderesearchcenter.com/ and to what blogging platform I’m going to use for my next niche website. There are a lot of issues with switching I’m not sure I’m going to do it. My next niche website could be on a different platform but I won’t know until I finish my research.

Setting up a website

Setting up a website isn’t something I’m going to cover it will be explained in the website software you choose but I will recommend that you use paid hosting and not the free hosting. Yes there are many free web hosting services out there but I’d don’t recommend using them if you’re really serious about setting up niche websites. You’ll have a bunch of hosting issues. Just spend the pennies it costs to host a website and don’t worry about the potential issues of transferring to one later.

A word of caution on choosing a hosting company!

If you plan to setup a lot of niche websites you make sure that your hosting company will not charge you for each website you setup. There are plenty of hosting companies will only charge you for one deluxe hosting package and that’s it. Your hosting company should only charge you somewhere between $5-$40 a month. Also if you going to put a lot of video or graphics on your website make sure you get enough bandwidth.

Writing content

All the articles you write for your website must contain a minimum of 400+ words; I recommend you maintain a word count of around 1,000-2,000 though. The 2,000 word count is only for niche websites not bloggers although all the great blogs have a very high word count per post but it’s not a requirement of blogs. For websites or niche websites it is most people need the information there looking for in a niche websites. When you pick a topic like travel, the majority of your visitors will need to know what to do and explaining something in fewer than 1,000 words doesn’t look professional remember your building trust with your visitors and need show them your quality work.

Where’s the pictures?

It’s funny as I write this I know I’m doing it wrong but am ignoring my own advice. Niche websites need pictures. Having pictures on a website show a level of competency and helps your visitors visually make a decision to whether or not they like what you’re doing. Remember pictures help visitors visualize by stimulating there dreams to travel. A website that has pictures will kick start there own wants and needs, help make there dreams come true type stuff.

Where’s the videos?

Videos are becoming more and more popular on websites today and should defiantly be considered. Make sure you consider video carefully though a poorly done video could cripple your chances of actually making a sale. For example a person with a thick accent shouldn’t do video it may break there visitors dreams of what you should sound like. If you’re trying to sell someone there dream vacation and you sound like there worst night mare there is a good chance they’ll leave your site for your competition. Always remember if you need a video Elance may be the right way to go even if you don’t have a thick accent there are some people up there that sound like every professional TV ad you’ve heard.
