Building a profitable online blogging business

clock May 7, 2009 05:20 by author Jeff

For those of you that are serious about building a profitable online blogging business you need to set some guides lines before you start I tried to start blogging with out setting up rules and got little to no visitors to my website, but once I start following a set of guide lines I started to see traffic. The trick is to write good content, content that Goggle and other search engines need. How do you do this you ask, well... you start by using the Goggle keyword tool to find unused phrases and use those phrases in your content, forums are also a good places to find keywords. Content for keywords isn't anything new people have been doing for years and people will keep doing it for many years to come. I can't stress this enough keyword research before writing content is how you get free organic search engine traffic. The first article I wrote for first blog I started went to number one for the keyword phrase I targeted at the time I didn't know anything about keyword research and I just thought that it was like shooting fish in a barrel, blogging so easy, my confidence was though the roof so I wrote more articles and none of them even showed in the top three pages on Google's search results. It took me a little while before i realized that for an online blogging business to succeed I'd have to find out what went wrong that's when I realized that I was trying for search terms or phrases that I had no chance of getting. Alright I'm blabbering on so I'll stop and get to the reason your here.

Building a profitable online blogging business

  1. Do your keyword research find a niche you can you compete in
  2. Look for affiliate programs in your in your niche (if you can't find one it may not be profitable)
  3. Choose your domain name carefully and put your target keyword in the domain name (it's easier this way)
  4. Write your first three posts using your keyword phrases
  5. Get active in a few forums in your niche (at least 2 but shoot for 10)
    1. start posting questions make sure a link to your site is in your profile this way when you post questions your website gets some exposure
    2. start answering questions this is good for other people to see you know your stuff and they may link back to you
  6. Write more posts
  7. Write some articles and submit them to article directories
  8. Once you start seeing some traffic put up some ads
  9. Buy me a cup of coffee and your done:)

Affiliate Internet Make Money Online Program

clock May 5, 2009 00:29 by author Jeff

Affiliate internet make money online program is a common enough search where internet marketers will target you. I wrote this post to bring you to my site where I go over the various ways of making money online using keywords like affiliate internet make money online program. I promote safe products. There are so many websites out there that want your money but give you nothing. With this site I'm not asking for your money I'm just writing about my search for an online money making system and am documenting the process.

Don't get scammed do your research, I did some research on the keywords affiliate internet make money online program and brought you to this site. You can do the same thing. Find a niche, target some keywords and make money though Google adsense or an affiliate program. The process is simple it just needs to be followed.

The main point I'll make here is that you don't need to buy a program to get started you just need to start a web site, keep doing research with search terms like "Affiliate internet make money online program" and you'll find free programs or websites that will teach you how to setup a blog and add Google adsense. Think of your website like your home. You buy a home and start building equity the same applies to a website, the more content you add the more it can be worth you just need to invest in your website.

Don't be in it for the quick buck you'll get scammed.

Was I sold the scam

clock April 4, 2009 00:27 by author Jeff

Be carefull if you decied to start searching these "money making sites", they can sell you the dream if you want them too. I've come back to this post to say, I was almost sold the scam. I'm actually consider stoping my research because there so tempting.

This morning I was searching for an affiliate program on ClickBank and while searching I had an idea or maybe an understanding of how the systems work. The idea was on the most basic princaple of how the money making websites work. People start these site sites, advertise on google or someother high traffic site, and someone who has already been researching for a way to make money online buys. The key here is that they have already been researching. I know it sounds so basic and you'd think I'd have just know that but I didn't. I didn't under stand until now, that people are researching and making informed desisions.

For argument sake lets say the whole process from search to purchase takes thirty days. Someone goes on line for whatever reason and see your ad. that peaks there interest in making money online. now the process begins, i don't think they will buy if there new to the concept, the point is, now the process has started. Before your ad the consumer didn't even think about the posablity of making money online, your ad starts the process. I know it sounds like marketing 101 right. So now the consumer starts searching online, "money make this", "money make that", keyword after keyword and then after an uncertain amount of time the consume decides I'm ready to buy. Now here the part that will make money now, and the misscomunicated part. Because you where advertising at the time when the consume decides to become a reseller, you get the sale or the commision depending of what your promoting. Simple right, I didn't get it at first but now I see how it works.

That's how you make money so quickly, people have been advertising these systems for years and people talk about them a lot. I'm just starting and didn't grasp the concept until now. I just didn't understand how people could make money so quickly. Here are the basic facts.

  1. Someone else may have done the advertising when your product sells. This is a revolving affect and your ads will start the procerss that sells someone elses product.
  2. You can make money quickly if it's done right.
  3. Do you have to learn new skills, definetly

This is a sales process that I think will take 30-60 days to actually sell the product. But I don't think it would take that long to actually sell because someone else will have already started the process.  For example today I just realized that I've been searching for "how to make money online" for about a month and I've just come to the conclusion that I'm almost ready to buy.

Then I realized that I'm not the only person in the world right now doing exacly the same thing. There are thousands if not more people searching online, right now for how to make money. Eventually some of them will come to the conclusion that now is the time and they will say yes I'm ready to buy some product. This is the end of the sales process and where google ads come in. If you have an ad up when one of these ready to buy people does there final search, you have a chance at selling them your prpduct.

So the idea is sound, it will work if you find the right affiliate program to advertise.

I have some question

  1. If most of the making money products on ClickBank all sound like scams, why does the idea sound like it will work?
  2. Are these people just doing it wrong?
  3. Can I do it better?

Based on my technical background I know I can create a nice flashy video and stick in a web page, I a broser based developer and have 10 years of experiance. So if I have the skills and the knowledge, so... Whats my issue? Why haven't I started?

i originally thought the whole thing was a scam but this morning my mind changed, there selling infomation but don't get me wrong i know there are still scammers out there.

This post was the first post that I didn't have to think much, I wrote it in under there minutes and it all came from the heart. Revising it took a little bit but the bulk was done very quickly.

Now.... I have just one very important question was I sold the scam???

For a moment I was.

ClickBank affiliates may fail

clock April 2, 2009 22:55 by author Jeff

I started looking into ClickBank this morning and found this on the web. Over 90% of ClickBank affiliates are INACTIVE. I don't know how true this is but I'm taking it as a lot of failed attempts at making money. I think that most people create a account, try to promote a product and then start failing because they don't have an online presence.

The one thing I know about the Internet is if you don't put time or money into a web site it is a waste of time.

I still haven't created a ClickBank account, I haven't found a program in there marketplace I like. My marketplace searches as of now have turned nothing. I can't get behind a poor product, I don't like it when someone promotes or try's to sell me a bad product, so I won't do that. The products I did like I know with a Google search would be free. For example there is a program for coping WII games it costs $30 on ClickBank but if you search Google and do some research you can get it for free. How can I promote something like that.

I'm still searching though, the profit margin for ClickBank affiliates is very high.

I almost ruled out ClickBank as a way of making money then I thought maybe if I keep searching I'll find a good product and I'll be happy. So I'll keep searching ClickBank and hopefully find a program I can get behind.

I wish I had more resources, you know someone besides myself. There's a lot of ground to cover, alright enough wishing and hoping, the search must go on.
